Wilderness Summerhouse

The Summerhouse was built in 1820, then restored in 1935 for Christine Hamlyn's 80th birthday. Its restoration in 2008 led to it winning a civic conservation award.

Clovelly’s ‘Wilderness Summerhouse’ could not be set in a more romantic location, and offers spectacular views across Bideford Bay and to Lundy Island. It can also be reached by Land Rover, and is a highly popular venue for romantic outdoor weddings.
