The Silk Workshop specialises in hand-printed fabrics by the distinguished textile designer Ann Jarvis. The shop, where you can buy a whole range of lovely gifts, was featured on ‘Kirstie and Phil’s Perfect Christmas’, broadcast on Channel 4. Ann runs courses at which you can create your own stunning devoré scarf. One of her course vouchers makes a unique personal gift for friends and family.

Make your own unique pot at Clovelly Pottery

Clovelly Pottery was established by the acclaimed potter, Clive Pearson, where you can also buy a range of North Devon pottery.  The workshop is open to visitors and for a small fee you can craft your own pot under supervision during the high season.

Clovelly Village Tours

Deborah provides rag rugging workshops and demonstrations at the Visitor Centre on specific dates throughout the high season.

Learn craft skills at Rowan Tree Studio

Rowan Tree Studio is based in a converted granary and offers workshops in contemporary and traditional crafts. You can gain skills in sewing, quilting, knitting, furniture painting, soap making and candle making. Class numbers are kept small and you receive personal attention throughout.
