There are a number of cliff and coastal walks along this unspoilt coastline. You’ll be surrounded by stunning coastal views and woodland scenery.

The South West Coast Path to the west is a leisurely ramble along a dramatic coastline. It runs over the magnificent Gallantry Bower headland which rises 400 feet above the sea.

Check out Black Church Rock with its two vast, carved windows on the way to the Hartland Peninsula. This was once the home of smugglers and many shipwrecks.

This year the Clovelly Maritime Festival on 11 July  is in aid of The Mission to Seafarers.

Come and watch the exciting Clovelly Cup yacht race. Yachts moored in and around the harbour create a great spectacle and the racing is fast and furious!

Throughout the day there will be music, street entertainment, activities and games for the whole family.

*Please note this event is restriction dependent.

The woodlands create an ideal environment for wild garlic to thrive. We’ve been foraging and used it in all sorts of recipes – our favourite being wild garlic pesto. We love using the produce we have on our doorstep!

Devon is famed for its many picturesque views and now Clovelly High Street has been named as the third ‘most Instagrammable’ spot in the UK.
