Activities are endless when visiting the village. Chartered boat trips to Lundy or just around the coastal waters of Clovelly. Sit on the quay and watch the Yachts coming and going. However if you are a keen sailer and own or rent a yacht you can always pop in to Clovelly for a short stay, just contact the harbour master for details.
You can fish off the quay or from the beach, permits are required and can be obtained from our friendly Harbour master. However crabbing is a pastime that has been part of village life and those visiting for hundreds of years. The village has many specialist in this art who are normally aged between 6 and 11 years old!

They also are working hard maintaining and updating the museums for future generations. They play an important roll in the history of the village. Experience the history by your selves. Simply walking up and down the street gives you an amazing inside into the village and life today.However you must take the short walk from the visitor centre to the Court Gardens where Lucy and her team are always hard at work. Experience the walled garden, victorian glass house and formal garden. From here why not walk along the coastal path our toward Mouth mills,a popular spot for pirates from this coast.
