Rag Rugging

Deborah provides rag rugging workshops and demonstrations at the Visitor Centre on specific dates throughout the high season. An old craft of re-cycling textiles to make rugs.

There is also a range of items visitors can make, such as a corsage, poppy and a Clovelly herring and lobster! This forms part of some of the special events that take place in the village throughout the year.

Craft workshops are best to join during the shoulder months as the summer in Clovelly can be very busy and you will have more time to work on your creations. The workshops are run by amazing professionals that just love sharing their skills with people who really want to learn something new.
