The Seaweed festival

27th May 2018 our Seaweed festival this year will also be celebrating the Visitor Centre’s 30th Anniversary.

The only one of its kind in the UK it promotes seaweed for its immense health and nutritional benefits. As it is hugely versatile, quay kitchens will be serving a variety of dishes, and stalls will be selling a range of seaweed products and arts and crafts. Plus live music, craft activities and workshops, talks and demonstrations and street entertainments.

There’ll be a hog roast, hot dogs, Christmas grog and other refreshments available at the Harbour and Lifeboat Station. Then, Father Christmas will make a surprise visit!

Entrance fee:  £10 per car at the Visitor Centre after 2 pm. All proceeds will go to the R.N.L.I.
